Well it seems that I had gotten the sick bug(a nasty cold).  It started off in my head and then went to my chest which is no fun at all.  I took off from work for two days to get some rest.  Today, I'm feeling much better but still not back to my normal self.  I'm very excited because tonight Scott and I are going on a date!  Date night!!!!!  It's been a while between doing the Dave Ramsey budget and having company over for the past couple weekends. 

I have been thinking a lot lately about Thanksgiving since it is November.  Thanksgiving in our family is usually either spent with Scott's family down in TN or with my family either in NC, or MD.  This year plans have changed a few times.  We are really looking forward to getting away and having time to spend with family

I wanted to take the time to share a little bit about what I'm thankful for.  Sure, I'm thankful for a lot more but I wanted to  write about how thankful I am for my husband and my wonderful family. I never knew  how precious family could be until more recently.  There is a bond that sticks so close within family members.  I know that no matter what happens in my life, my family is going to love me.  Friends come and go but family sticks close by. Our family has been through a bit of ups and downs within the past few years but it's good to know that we can lean on each other through the hard times! I'm so thankful for my husband Scott, because when I am down and have a hard time looking up, he is right there next to me encouraging me!  He truly is my best friend!
